Hello,
My name is "Bwings" and I'm still hearing comments on Christmas Trees.
After yesterday's post I took a survey to see how many of my friends used real and how many artificial and why. Their answers were dead on 50/50
There were 5 friends who commented real and 5 who commented fake and 1 who couldn't decide! It appears just as the chart showed this one is definitely a down the centre.
So what then is the environmental option. Research showed that buying a live tree that you can then plant later is growing increasingly more popular. But in many situations people are forced to use fake trees in their apartments, as previously mentioned, and that option is removed from them.
So I thought I'd involve the readers (please only vote once)

although i like the smell of real trees, it is not practical for me to buy a new tree every year. i have no means of transportation, and my cat would eat it all to hell. my fake one serves me just fine every year.
ReplyDeleteI'm allergic to real trees. And there is nowhere to get a real tree way up here in the north :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love real trees. I used to be so disappointed if at Christmas my family was in an apartment who doesn't allow it.
ReplyDeleteI have read my lease agreement inside out about five times to make sure there was nothing restricting us from real trees. Nothing listed so real tree it is!!!! I love the smell and Christmas is a time when I try to flash back to those feelings when we were kids. I grew up with them usually and that's what I expect!!! :)
The texture and the look is just not the same with a fake tree.
The man (and the majority of his family, too) is allergic to real trees. Obviously, that makes having a real tree impractical for us. But growing up, we always had an artificial tree. In fact, we've had the SAME artificial tree for my WHOLE life. Artificial gets my vote.
